A community of woodland animals wakes up one spring to find that a human housing development has destroyed most of their habitat and food supply. Led by scheming RJ the Raccoon (Bruce Willis), the animals venture over the hedge for the first time to explore a new world of food scraps and trash cans. But when conflict arises between RJ and cautious leader Verne the Turtle (Garry Shandling), RJ's alterior motives are discovered, and the animals are suddenly confronted with the new dangers of suburban life: house cats and exterminators.
The movie will be shown Thursday and Saturday at 9:30 p.m. in the Weinstein Auditorium in Wright Hall. Shows are free.
