What did you do this summer?

I worked as a groom on the show circuit! Most notably, I worked for Anne Kursinski. She's a jumper rider, an Olympian and a kind, knowledgeable person. She is incredibly focused, and her horses are both intelligent and kind.

What is your favorite class that you have taken at Smith?

Besides Equitation? Probably Intro to Genetics and Molecular Biology. Professor Merritt is a pretty awesome guy, and genetics is one of my favorite subjects in general.

When did you start riding?

I began when I was seven, and I've been at it ever since!

If you could be someone else for one day, who would it be?

Anne Kursinski! I really admire her strength and discipline.

What are your hobbies besides equestrian?

I work for veterinarians as much as possible, I play volleyball whenever I can and I really enjoy handcrafts like knitting and spinning.

If you could change one thing about yourself, what would you change?

Hmmm. I would procrastinate less, I think.
