In this remake of the 1933 classic, director Peter Jackson improves upon the film's special effects, but keeps the story the same. An overzealous director, Carl Denham (Jack Black) convinces his cast, including the leading lady, Ann Darrow (Naomi Watts), and his screenwriter Jack Driscoll (Adrian Brody) to go to the infamous Skull Island. They encounter many creatures, and of course run into the great 25-foot gorilla known as King Kong. To make matters worse, the gorilla soon becomes infatuated with Ann Darrow. Will she succumb to his charms? What will become of the cast and crew?

King Kong plays this Thursday and Saturday at 9:30 pm in Wright Hall, Weinstein Auditorium.
