What is your favorite Smith softball memory?
One day at practice last year, Chloe [Pete] and I were shagging balls in the outfield during batting practice, and we decided to make things more interesting by jazzing up our catches. We gave each other pretty points. It didn't matter if you caught the ball, as long as you did it in a photo-fabulous sort of way.
If you could be someone else for one day, who would it be and why?
I would be my sister. I'd like to know what makes her "tick" so I can better understand a lifelong friend.
What is your favorite place to study?
Haymarket.
What is your favorite class that you have taken at Smith?
Jazz I. We did a dance routine from Chicago and I never felt more out of place and entertained at the same time.
What is your favorite song?
"Thunder Road," Bruce "the Boss" Springstein
What do you plan on doing this summer?
I'm applying to an NGO [Non-Governmental Organization] out of Bethlehem, Palestine. I plan on working at an after-school program with elementary-aged children.
How long have you been playing softball?
11 years.
Did you play other sports in high school?
I was just as into soccer as I was softball.
What else are you involved in at Smith?
I'm an advocate of house community, so I'm a Cushing HONS and have always been part of House Council. I've also always been pretty involved with our SGA and currently am the Elections and Appointments chair.
What is your favorite meal at Smith?
I'm a fan of the eggplant parmesan, but sundae bar trumps any meal dining throws at me. And yes, ice cream is a meal. Probably even more than a meal sometimes.
