As the annual "Celebrating Collaborations: Students and Faculty Working Together" event approaches, 169 students and 84 faculty sponsors are gearing up for a weekend of presenting their collaborative intellectual efforts. On Saturday, April 22 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., students of all majors will showcase their research.

This year will be the fifth annual "Celebrating Collabor-ations." This program is sponsored by the Provost's Office, the President's Office, the Office of the College and the Louise W. and Edmund J. The Admissions Office, the Campus Center staff, the Office of College Relations and a host of Smith employees also contribute their time and effort to make this event a success. Debbie Cottrell, the associate dean of faculty, explained, "One of the greatest things about Celebrating Collaborations is that it captures the exciting academic spirit at Smith and lets us see in one day a sample of the great things that go on here all year."
