Even if Campus Center activities are your last resort after all the great parties in the Five College area, there are people who work hard to organize different activities that satisfy Smith's diverse student body.

Behind the wonderful performance of Recycled Percussion and the Welcome Week carnival, the Campus Center Activities Board is working hard to help students to break away from the stress of endless work. Rec Council's activities provide opportunities for everyone, with many options for some nights of hanging out with friends, without any burden of traveling far or spending a lot of money.

Here are some activities coming up at the Campus Center this year:

In addition to Tim Young and Villa Jidiots performances that were hosted as part of the comedy show series, CCAB also has plans to invite Eric O'Shea during Family Weekend and Megan Mooney in November.

Every Thursday, you can get some folk music from various artists with students as opening acts. Solo artists who can mix their music with creative songs and live music are invited to make their grand debut in front of the audience.

As the work piles up and the weather gets chilly in November, the line for the PVTA disappears. You can simply walk to the Campus Center for Luna Fest and stress-free events throughout finals. You can also be part of the Board and join them in organizing and participating in the activities. For more information, contact ccab@email.smith.edu.
