Thursday, March 29

10:15 a.m.

Officers and the NFD responded to a fire alarm from the Tilly Hall common room. A contractor had removed the cover from the smoke detector while cleaning the room and the dust had settled into it, activating the alarm. A Smith electrician replaced the detector. The system was reset.

7:07 p.m.

Officers were dispatched for a report of burning incense and marijuana odor emanating from a student’s room in Haven House. The room was found empty, but the officers confiscated two items used for smoking marijuana. A community incident report was sent to the Dean’s office.

Saturday, March 31

7:57 a.m.

An officer was dispatched to investigate graffiti spray-painted on the overhead loading dock door of Sabin-Reed. The same letters were spray-painted on the loading dock wall of the Smith Conference Center.

Sunday, April 1

9:51 p.m.

An officer was dispatched to check on a student from Jordan House whose parents had been unable to make contact with her over several days. She called back later that evening.

Monday, April 2

2:58 p.m.

Money from the donation box in Lyman Plant House was stolen over the weekend. Case open.
